Introduction

HostnFly, leaders in the market for managing rental apartments in Paris, are known to be the go-to platform when looking for a home away from home stay. HostnFly connects hosts and guests and manages all that goes into managing a rental stay. HostnFly manages thousands of rentals across France for guests across multiple countries who speak a variety of languages. In order to increase operational performance HostnFly started looking for a flexible and innovative solution that would aid in management with the right tools for efficient tracking and coordination of guests arrival, departure, communication, upsells and more.

Key Challenges

  • Inefficient Guest Communication: HostnFly wanted to Provide guests with all the information they need about check-in and check-out times, local suggestions and house manuals, without having to utilize all of staff time.
  • Difficulty Coordinating Arrival & Departure: HostnFly was seeing that they didn’t have a seamless system in place for when guests were arriving or leaving the apartment which meant coordinating for property cleaning was also not in-line.
  • No Upsells For Guests: Needed to find the right solution to offer upsells like linen purchases and other services for all brands under HostnFly

Duve’s guest experience platform gave HostnFly the ability to enhance guest experience and free up staff time, all while increasing their bottom line. From check-in to check-out all processes were able to be automated, personalized, and streamlined to make operations as smooth as possible.

The Results

HostnFly rolled out Duve to all the 90 brands including thousands of apartments, and immediately experienced simplified communication with guests, improved upselling, and reduced inquiries from guests.

  • Improved Communication: By using Duve HostnFly could now send automated communication, apartment details and information about each location easily. This saved time for staff, and made the guest experience more enjoyable as guests were provided everything they may need, or ask in one place.
  • Seamless Coordination of Arrival & Departure: From Duve’s online check-in and check-out, they could now better coordinate with the cleaning crew on where they should be and when accommodations were ready to be cleaned according to guests’ estimated arrival and departure times.
  • Increased Upselling: HostnFly is able to offer linen-upsells through Duve’s online check-in, which increased linen-upsells across a large number of properties, and resulted in more than 2,500 upsells in 2022.

HostnFlys integration with Duve demonstrates the importance of implementing the right digital tools to solve key challenges in managing Airbnb accommodations. By using Duve’s advanced guest experience suite, HostnFly was able to streamline operations, implement clear communication and increase upsells.
