About this Role

We’re looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Software Engineer to join our AI team and help build the AI agents at the core of Duve’s next generation of products.

This role is for a strong software engineer who combines deep engineering experience with hands-on expertise in AI and agent development.

You’ll work on complex, real-world problems, take ownership of technical challenges, and play an active role in shaping and building our AI capabilities.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and passionate about building — someone who identifies problems, proposes solutions, and independently drives them forward.

Requirements

• Proven ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges and drive solutions from idea to production.
• Proven experience developing AI agents and agentic applications.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on coding skills.
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design and scalable systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a veteran from 8200 / Mamram or an equivalent unit. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with RAG and/or LangGraph .
• Experience working in a fast-paced SaaS or startup environment.
• Experience mentoring other engineers or contributing to technical leadership and architectural decisions.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and evolve AI agents and agentic workflows that are core to Duve’s product.
• Develop production-grade AI-powered features and integrate them into our existing platform.
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges, from understanding the problem and designing the solution to implementation and delivery.
• Build reliable and scalable software systems supporting our AI capabilities.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and approaches and identify opportunities to apply them to real product and business challenges.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to turn ideas and customer needs into high-quality technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical and architectural decisions across the AI team.
• Maintain high engineering standards through clean code, testing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
