AI Acceptable Use Policy

please read the following carefully before using Duve.

Servi Smart Solutions Ltd. and its affiliates (“Company“, “Duve” or “we“) offer a cloud-based guest management platform (“Platform“) that enables hotels, vacation rentals, and similar accommodation providers (“Customers“) to manage hospitality-related services and digitize accommodation-related processes through a designated web application or native mobile application developed and designed on the Company’s framework. This AI Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP“) supplements the Terms of Service, which it is referenced from (“Terms“), or another agreement entered between Customer and Company, and governs the use of the AI Offering. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this AUP have the meanings given to them in the Terms.

The Company’s Services include certain AI-powered features, including chat functionality that generates responses to Customer Clients’ or potential clients, inquiries, operational requests, and reservation-related support requests, such as: DuveAI Smart Reply (Auto-Reply) that suggests automatic responses the Customer can use across SMS, WhatsApp, and chat, or suggested tailored responses generated through generative AI which the Customer can review and edit, and full autonomic agentic conversational AI chat (“Chat AI“). The Chat AI features are available from pre-booking, during the booking, check-in processes and guest stay.

The Chat AI system includes segments and insights, that enable the Customer in real time to offer a Customer Client or potential client tailored, services and upgrades.

The Chat AI is connected to the Platform and enables the Customer to produce summaries of guest message threads. Further Duve offers real-time translation of guest communications across all channels.

Addition features applicable to the check-in process include AI OCR that extracts and validates structured data from passport machine-readable zones during online check-in and “Selfie Face Match” that includes a liveness check (i.e., compares live selfie against passport photo with anti-spoofing measures for identity verification). All AI features, systems and tools detailed herein or provided, made available by Duve, shall be defined herein as “AI Offering“.

This AUP applies to Customer and Authorized Users who use the AI Offering and is intended to help prevent unlawful or inappropriate use of the AI Offering, including use that may contribute to model drift or hallucinations and could enable prohibited uses further described below.

Customer and Authorized Users are responsible for all decisions made, advice given, actions taken, and failures to act based on the use of the AI Offering. We may enforce violations of this AUP. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, termination, key revocation, legal action, and reporting to authorities. Customer may be liable for damages and costs.

This AUP is updated from time to time, any updates will become effective upon posting, as reflected by the “Last updated” date shown above.

By using the AI Offering, Customer accepts and agrees to adhere to this AUP.

Prohibited Use

Customer and Authorized Users must use the AI Offering in accordance with all applicable laws. Customers may not use AI Offering, nor allow Authorized Users or any third party to use the AI Offering for any of the purposes listed below:

  • Compromise the privacy of others, including unlawful tracking, monitoring, and identification, including by using the Selfie Face Match feature for any purpose except as required by applicable laws.
  • Use subliminal, manipulative, or deceptive techniques that distort a person’s behavior so that they are unable to make informed decisions in a way that is likely to cause harm.
  • Create or expand facial recognition databases without consent.
  • Exploit any vulnerabilities related to age, disability, or socio-economic circumstances.
  • Evaluate or classify individuals based on their social behavior or personal traits leading to detrimental or unfavorable treatment.
  • Share personal information without consent.
  • Categorize individuals based on their biometric data to deduce or infer sensitive attributes such as their race, political opinions, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation.
  • Engage in regulated activity without complying with applicable regulations.
  • Promote or engage in any illegal activity, including the exploitation or harm of children and the development or distribution of illegal substances, goods, or services.
  • Conduct real-time remote biometric identification in public spaces for law enforcement purposes.
  • Assess or predict the risk of an individual committing a criminal offense based solely on their personal traits or on profiling.
  • Infer an individual’s emotions in the workplace and educational settings, except when necessary for medical or safety reasons.
  • Provide advice on essential services, including in the medical or health field, without review by a qualified professional and disclosure of the use of AI assistance and its potential limitations.
  • Use the Chat AI to impersonate a human by presenting results as human generated without disclosing the use of AI.
  • Compromise security or gain unauthorized access to computer systems or networks.

Illegal, Dangerous and Harmful Activities

Customers may not use AI Offering, nor allow Authorized Users or any third party to use any AI Offering for any of the purposes listed below:

  • Encourage or support terrorism, violent extremism, or human trafficking.
  • Encourage self-harm, suicide, or violence against individuals or groups.
  • Provide instructions for or facilitate illegal activities, including the creation or distribution of weapons, controlled substances, or malicious code.
  • Advertising, marketing, distributing, or selling weapons, weapon accessories, or explosives.
  • Generating, targeting, or distributing political campaign materials or content intended to influence political processes through deception, without appropriate disclosure.
  • Create, distribute, or promote content that is harmful, violent, or hateful (including hate speech), or for bullying, intimidation, offensive conduct, or humiliation of individuals or groups.
  • Promote unhealthy or unattainable body image or beauty standards.
  • Generate content depicting animal cruelty or abuse.
  • Generate violent or gory content inspired by real acts of violence.
  • Creating, sending, or marketing adult content.
  • Depict or request sexual intercourse or sex acts, generate content related to sexual fetishes or fantasies, facilitate, promote, or depict incest or bestiality, or engage in erotic chats.

Child Safety

Customers may not use AI Offering, nor allow Authorized Users or any third party to use any AI Offering to compromise children’s safety, including to:

  • Create, distribute, or promote child sexual abuse material.
  • Facilitate trafficking, sextortion, or any other form of exploitation of a minor.
  • Facilitate or depict child abuse of any form.
  • Promote or facilitate pedophilic relationships.

Misinformation

Customers may not use AI Offering, nor allow Authorized Users or any third party to use any AI Offering to spread misinformation, including to:

  • Create and disseminate deceptive or misleading information.
  • Create and advance conspiratorial narratives.
  • Impersonate real entities or create fake personas without consent.

Fraudulent, Abusive, or Predatory Practices

Customers may not use AI Offering, nor allow Authorized Users or any third party to use any AI Offering to engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or predatory practices, including:

  • Facilitate the production, acquisition, or distribution of counterfeit goods.
  • Promote or facilitate the generation of spam.
  • Generate content for fraudulent activities, schemes, scams, phishing, or malware.
  • Engage in or facilitate multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or other deceptive business models.
  • Engage in deceptive, abusive behaviors that exploit vulnerable people.
  • Promote or facilitate the use of abusive debt collection practices.

Abuse of Platform and Services (including the AI Offering):

Customers may not use AI Offering, nor allow Authorized Users or any third party to use any AI Offering for any of the purposes listed below:

  • Coordinate malicious activity across multiple accounts.
  • Circumvent a ban by using a different account.
  • Intentionally bypass capabilities or restrictions established within the Platform and Services.

Reporting and Appeals

Company has the discretion to terminate or suspend the Customer’s access to the AI Offering or Services where applicable, upon receipt of a notification of claimed infringement, or at Company’s own determination.

If you believe that any content made available on or through the Platform and Services (including the AI Offering) has been used or exploited in a manner that infringes an intellectual property right you own or control, then please promptly notify us at: support@duve.com.

If your access to any of the Platform and Services (including AI Offering) has been suspended or terminated due to an alleged violation of this AUP, you may submit an appeal by contacting us at the same email address set forth above.
